Aesthetic exploration
NeuMouse
An industrial design study focused on surfacing, master modeling, rendering, animation, and visual development.

- 2024
- Role
- Independent industrial design study

- Surfacing · Master Modeling · Rendering · Animation

Engineering Challenge
Create a recognizably different mouse by treating proportion, gesture, surface continuity, and visual identity as primary design requirements.
Approach
I used SOLIDWORKS surfacing and a master-model workflow to control the form, separate component boundaries, evaluate appearances, and build animations from one coherent source of geometry.
Results
The project developed my surfacing, master-modeling, rendering, and animation skills while treating aesthetics as a functional design requirement.
Key Outcomes
1cohesive master model
- Practiced complex surface construction and continuity
- Built a master model that coordinated multiple components
- Produced both technical and rendered animations
