LightLinks Product Design & Visualization
A combined mechanical-design and rendering workflow that turned stakeholder feedback into same-day photorealistic renders and functional prototypes.

Engineering Challenge
Develop the physical product and communicate it visually at the same time. The renders needed to stay grounded in real geometry and design decisions while clearly showing form, interfaces, finishes, and brand details.
Approach
I handled the real-world mechanical design alongside the visualization work. I assigned materials, built and scaled surface textures, tuned reflection values, and created the backdrop and floor geometry. I also modeled a controllable studio-lighting setup with reflectors and diffusers, assigned luminous properties to each element, and used layout variables and sketches to coordinate the scene and camera views.
Results
The workflow produced a consistent set of product views while keeping visualization connected to the evolving engineering model. Stakeholder feedback could move directly into both visual and physical iterations, balancing manufacturing requirements with the product's aesthetic direction.
From Feedback to Same-Day Decisions
I incorporated stakeholder feedback into same-day photorealistic renders and functional prototypes. Working in both visual and physical formats made it possible to compare changes quickly while keeping manufacturing constraints and aesthetics in the same conversation.
A CAD System Built for Collaboration
I spearheaded the company's CAD strategy, applying more than six years of CAD experience to support smoother client collaboration and clearer design documentation. This treated CAD as both an engineering environment and a shared system for communicating design intent.
Key Outcomes
- Translated stakeholder feedback into same-day photorealistic renders and functional prototypes
- Built a reusable lighting setup with modeled reflectors, diffusers, and luminous surfaces
- Spearheaded company CAD strategy for smoother client collaboration and design documentation
